Jisr az-Zarqa is the only Arab-majority town in Israel located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Jisr Az-Zarqa project, is part of an affordable housing program, and features small plots with a high density. One of the design key objectives, was to provide privacy for residents while also taking advantage of the exceptional sea views.

A system of roof terraces with shading elements was implemented to create a functional outdoor space for residents, with the added benefit of being able to be used as a modern “bustan”.
